THE WINEMAKER’S
DILEMMA.

About the platform

There is more than one way to make a living—and more than one way to leave.

The Winemaker’s Dilemma begins with a question too many people in alcohol-adjacent work have had to answer alone.

Why this exists

It’s possible to be deeply invested in your work and still know it no longer fits the life you want.

In alcohol-centered professions, that realization is rarely simple. Your work may be tied to a community, a craft, a sense of expertise, and the income that supports your life. Leaving can feel less like changing jobs and more like changing who you are.

This platform is being built around that tension. The forthcoming memoir, The Winemaker’s Dilemma, explores the human side of it. Practical guides begin to address the next question: how to move forward.

For some people, the reason is sobriety: it becomes clear that a job built around tasting, selling, or serving alcohol is working against the life they are trying to protect. For others it is the culture, the hours, or a quieter sense that it is time. The platform speaks to both—from lived experience, not clinical expertise.

Personal details and founder background will be added here when ready. For now, the commitment is simple: no borrowed authority, no easy answers, and no pretending the trade-offs aren’t real.
